Animal crazy as long as she can remember, Julie entered the veterinary industry straight out of high school; starting as a kennel technician/ groomer in a small animal veterinary hospital in Portland, Or. She became a Certified Veterinary Technician, working in small animal & exotics general practice and dermatology specialty hospital for 12 years before moving to corporate America. She trained dogs privately for 2 years, specializing in "hyper and difficult" dogs, helping clients learn what their dogs were actually "telling" them. She has spent her life with animals. Julie
is a passionate and highly skilled pet groomer dedicated to providing a safe, stress-free grooming experience for every furry client. She holds a Fear Free Groomer Certification, emphasizing her commitment to creating a calm, soothing environment that minimizes stress and anxiety during grooming sessions. In addition, she is Pet First Aid and CPR Certified, ensuring she is prepared to handle any unexpected situations with confidence and care. Julie believes in the importance of ongoing education, and completes numerous hours of continuing education each year as well as visiting grooming expos and conventions to stay up-to-date on the latest grooming techniques, products, and industry standards. Her dedication to learning allows her to provide top-notch care tailored to each pet’s unique needs.

Hailey was born and raised in Columbia County, graduating from Scappoose High School. She has always loved animals from a very young age and was raised with cats, dogs, horses, goats, chickens and rabbits. She spent her childhood and teen years riding and showing horses. While in high school, she worked at a local large and small animal veterinary hospital as a kennel technician, moving to a veterinary assistant while in college. She graduated from Portland Community College Veterinary Technology Program in 2020 and has been working as a Certified Veterinary Technician ever since. Hailey spent a few years working in research after college, where she discovered her love for monkeys. She specialized in behavior and training. She currently works as a CVT for a small animal Veterinary Surgical Specialty Practice. Hailey lives with her husband, daughter, 2 dogs and horse in Vernonia, Or.
